Buying new Rotors
I have decided to upgrade m rotors in order to get some better looks and hopefully correct some of my wheel vibrating (my current ones are worn badly).
I looked at American Muscel and the only thing I found in term of Drilled and Slotted were very expensive and not exactly what I was looking for. I am not looking for anything that will upgrade the performence of my car, since the engine is mostly stock I do not need that much more stopping power than stock. I found this website: Brake Performance I am wondering if this website seems like a reliable spot to get Rotors from. I do not want some cheap immitation that is going to rust in 5 weeks, nor am I out to get the best on the market. They offer this on the website: • Lifetime Warranty - Against Warping • Free Shipping - On Any Amount • Guaranteed Fit - No Modification • Zinc Plated - Black or Silver • Better Braking - All Driving Conditions • All Models - From 1937-2008 • Great Customer Service - We Respond! • Fast Shipping - UPS in the U.S.A. They are also registered with the BBB so that adds some reasurance. Just looking for anyone's experiences or insight on this company or any reccomendations to others. Now, I am looking at these rotors specifically: Brake Performance - Slotted and Drilled Brake Rotors The cross Drilled & Slotted that are $118 for the front and $103 for the rear. Also, do you think the pure sliver will look good or go with the Sliver w/ Black in the Slots & Holes? |

if your car is stock why are you getting slotted rotors? It won't help any. I just picked up a set of front rotors AND pads for $55.00 total.. I would venture that route honestly. If ou want them for the look, hit up ebay powersellers.

Ya, I am mainly going for the looks of them and the minimal improvements that drilled.slotted offer.
I rather not go with Ebay.. just a peace of mind thing. |

Yeah I kind of agree if you aren't doing anything power wise then they aren't a necessity, but if you do want them it's your car... I'm getting mine from R1 Concepts... cheaper than what you listed. Check it out and really think what's necessary and what you want. Stock replacements from a local autostore will fix your vibration issue if that's what causing it, and as HMUSN said it's CHEAP.

Do not get their E-Line rotors... they have major rust issues. I know it's not neccesary and I could get them alot cheaper, but I am looking for some quality.
My main question is referring to this business. |

the cosmetic rotors suck and the real deal will cost. if you really want, just ebay it. if you have paypal and they try to scam you, just report it and youll get your money back.

Yo Zat, I thought you were going to stop making upgrades to your car, and start saving for one of the newer mustangs. What happened?

Yeah I know I'm going after the cheaper ones from them, weird as it is they are supposedly better mainly because of the issue with the rust on the Elines as you said... as far as the company you are looking at I have never heard of them...

I always go big with the mods I do to my car. In this case, even though I wouldn't really need it currently, I might one day, and they look a lot better. I would spend the extra $40 bucks.
My 2 cents. =)

Drilled/slotted rotors are pointless on anything but an all out race car. Your pads would never see temps that would make them necessary. Really the only reason to buy them is for looks.
