its not that expensive i dont think. I can get mine done for next to nothing because my ex husband works in a steel shop, and they send stuff out every few days to get powder coated and one of the guys that works with him sent his rims out to get done in black, and they came back awesome...

Its not worth me to do it though because I have the stock rims on it, and if I had them done I would have no rims on my car..

I dont really care for the look of the stock rims...Since your putting down good times and numbers I think you could suck it up and buy rims. Just get em used so they are cheaper

do u really think it would be worth it having the stock ones done though? I mean like i said, i probably wont have to pay hardly anything maybe like 20 dollars just to cover part of their shipping which is also discounted because they have their own trucks, but im in good with everyone from the shop so I know I wouldnt have to pay for the actual powder coating....

just didnt know if it was worth it to do it with the stock ones

actually i think a flat black on the stock rims would look quite nice but thats just me then maybe give the pony a different color accent if i were to do mine it would be flat black rims and red pony to match my paint.

the only downside to powder coat, is you cant get any road salt on them, it will eat the paint away... plus i think powerder chips way to easily... im a chrome kinda guy, but do what you feel is right

I don't think it's worth it because the only stock rims on Mustangs that I like are from the 60's to early 70's, cobras, saleens, roush, or the bullitts. If it's a GT or a v6 or even the 4 cyl Mustang. I don't like the stock rims at all, and don't think any money put into them is worth it.

So what. I would rather spend the money, and then get something that would be a cheap immitation in my mind. Even if it is close to free or free I don't it's worth it. I hate stock Mustang wheels.

i hate the stock wheels also. not only are the small they are ugly. i think powdercoating them would make people think they are just really dirty.
