Erm speed regulater...?


So i was in a Freeway race the other day with a 300zx after puting in my gears ad tlok and a new clutch and short shifter we sarted from the light and went up the entrance i smoked himm basicaly the hole way... but then my regulater kicked in at about 130 or so and he ended up passing me at high end speed... BAH! very frustrating any ideas on how i should go about removing this?

I think you mean the govenor, which kicks in at 118 on our sixers. It can be removed with a chip or tuner.

yes thats what i was meaning the govenor, but ok so a chip or tuner ah i know i can a tuner online right but is the chip less expensive and also where would i go to get this done just a basic automotive place?

to remove your governor u can use a chip or a tuner, but here on the forums we do not allow illegal street racing to be discussed here, thread closed.
