Sway bar


I am just curious if a 96-98 gt sway bar will bolt up to my '02? I have a buddy that well give me it for free

Dual exhaust, mac longtubes, catted h, flow 40's, 3.73's & t-lok, k&n intake, Xcal3, VAP intake spacer, MGW short shifter, 03/04 cobra rims, eibach pro-kit (ported heads not installed)

To come:
UPD's, cam, ported intakes, new engine(4.3 STROKER)

I have no clue but it is for free I would say go for it and if it fits then great and if it doesnt you didnt lose any money

Should bolt right up...only difference between years was the diameter

the question i have is why would you want to??

running no sway bar allows for better weight transfer which can lead to a better time on the strip.

if you are road racing, go for it, but i would suggest looking at the size differences so you aren't putting something that is the same size on.

im not doing any track racing....and i thought v6's didnt come with sway bars

uhh, sway bars are considerd a saftey precaution and the federal government requires that all cars have them... been that way since the 70s.

Front sway bar yes, rear sway bars no they do not

CAI, Screamin' Demon Coil, Livewires, Steeda Tri-ax, Steeda Clutch Quadrant and Adjuster, UDP, 8.8 rear end with 3.73's.
