Question about longtubes

I have heard from people around where I live, that longtubes bottom out and create exhaust leaks. Has that happened to anyone?

you will bootom out on say a steap speed bump and an exhaust leak only if not installed well.

i have steeda C springs which were 1.5 drop in front and 1.25 drop in back with long tubes and they touch every once and awhile. you just have to slow down over speed bumps and entrances that are sloped.

The collector runs lower. I avoid speedbumps and crappy roads.

+1 not too bad if you pay attention to road conditions and take it slow, even stock exhaust will scrape at the Cats on a 1.5" drop if not careful.

On stock height you will be fine but if your lowered you might have problems.
