Make seat recline..


So i read the write up on mustangworld.com about making our 99+ stang seats fully recline and when i tried it on my 2002 i didnt see what the pictures illustrated.Does anyone know how to do it on a 02?

Should be the same from 99 up I'd think... I tried that myself and found what they were talking about but after TOO long of drilling that rivet out I gave up to no avail, not that big a thing to me to work that hard for, I'm not in my car nearly as much just "chillin" as I used to be so I don't even need the seat all the way back...

its the same. Im not sure how big of a person you are but im 6'2'' 250 and I had problems with mine after about a year. They started to squeek REALLY bad and drove me nuts.

Im actually 6' 2" myself..the mod wud mostly be for my girlfriend cuz when i pick her up from work everyday we have a pretty long commute back home and she usually takes a nap in the car and having the seats recline would make her ride more comfy!
