i know that im posting in the wrong section but there are a lot more ppl that are on this part of the v6 forum but... i am considering to get an underdrive pulley and i was wanting to know if any of yall have done this before. if so is there a difference in the performance of the belt driven accessories like the power stearing pump ac ect. and with the tuner i know that a couple of you guys have sct tuners, and i was wanting to know if you you have to have xp as an os for your comp to download the tunes and download the new firmware ect, because my sniper tuner is useless because of that issue, it requires xp and i have vista. and thanks in advance

Sniper will work on vista 32bit operating systems and you need atleast 2G of RAM , and SCTs software is designed on XP as well , I am sure you can find a friends home computer or something to use the Sniper with ......

well i tried to hook it up to my computer acouple times and it wont recognize it...and all my friends have xp as well...but i live like and hour from sniper in orlando..but i wont have anything worth dyno tuning tho...

go to your icon My Computer , right click , drop down to properties and left click , it should say if you have 32 or 64 bit operating system

did you disable the UAC and file protection ?

i got it to work on vista now...but now the problem is i think the modle i have is too old to work with my car, i have an 09...and i dont know how much it would cost to get the software and or hardware up to date??? because i got my tuner like 2yrs ago...

Sniper does all updates for free, you just have to pay for shipping , call them on Monday and get an RMA# and send a check for the shipping with the interface
