A lot of power left in my car...

The tune flat out sucks. My air/fuel is off the charts (detonating) at 2000-2500 rpms. I made a poor 164 rwhp and 190 rwtq. With a good tune, I can see about 30+ more rwhp and tq., and this should put me at a very low 14 second quarter time n/a bolt on!

We have good dyno vids- Hell the car lit up the drag radials on the dyno because it wasn't strapped down good, but this makes for one hell of a room smoke show and great video. The car is much louder in the dyno room, but doesn't sound that bad.

I have a generic mail order tune that blows. I need to email my dyno chart and mod list again for retuning and more dyno runs. It is tuned for 93+ octane, and the a/f hovers just above 13 at 5500 rpms, but it is way above 18+ (the charts stop at 18) from 2k-2500...

I am not sure when exactly I will get the new tune and dyno runs, but it should help out quite a bit.

hope u got a friend that lets u get some cheap dyno runs :X they start to add up.

Yeah, 85 bucks for 3 runs and a/f print out. But I shouldn't need more than about 6 runs to get the a/f safe and power up.

Thats stock power...shouldnt your mods make more than that, and the tune add more than 30 rwhp

Do you still have the timing set at stock timing? Once you get the a/f ratio...I would mess with the timing, and advance it a couple degrees. That really surprises me you only made 164 rwhp.

the car should make 200rwhp or so on the dyno jet. it makes more than stock power, also. this is through the auto tranny and 4.10s as well...

the timing is adjusted to run with 93+ octane, but the tune flat out sucks. the detonation alone is a major issue, but a better tune should put me about 200rwhp.

working on getting a tune from justin at vmp- let him look at my dyno chart and go from there...

Wait so you mean it will make 200 to the wheels with your mods plus the tune? So shouldnt it make more than 164 untuned because of your mods, or is the car running that badly...Dont take this as a flame or anything, im just trying to understand
