Urgent help!

Ok so i just got my sct xcal 3 tuner! im trying to fig out something. i got the preprogrammed one? is that bad? can i still upload tunes? i got it from a website that lets u upload tunes for free so can i still on my preprogrammed one upload them? any help please!!!!!!!!!

i got a livewire tuner with the preprogrammed tunes already on it from american muscle and they were able to upload their own custom tune to it without modification to the existing tunes. these two devices may be totally different but i don't think you have a big problem. sorry if i didn't understand your question correctly...

Ok so i can change the tunes. So how do i get new tunes from americanmuscle.com for my tuner?

well first of all, the tunes i got were from buying the tuner from american muscle. i don't think you can get tunes from american muscle unless you ordered it from them (might be wrong i don't know). but, assuming you did order from them, i think they just email them to you. does the xcal III have a USB cord for your computer?

thats what i would do. if that doesn't work then look around on their site. i know they have them.

ok. i will try calling them. i tried clicking on the same tuner only the one that is the custom tune one and it says get tunes so i clicked on that and i put in my order number and filled it all in and submitted it and gave them my email so idk i will wait and see if they get back to me or not. if not i will call them. if they dont do it is there any other place i can just get a tune emailed to me? or do they do it? and if there is do u know about how much it would cost?

ok so i dont think american muscle is gonna give me the tunes. i havent called yet cuz it is easter. but im kinda mad. if i have to pay for the tunes when it says free tunes. if anyone on here does some tunes just emailed ones for now for a xcal 3 for fairly cheap i would probably be willing to buy a couple from them so i will actually be able to use my tuner.

The X3 has a [base] tune on it for your car, which will work fine until you get tunes from AM.

ok. i mean i noticed a little difference with the strategy tune if that is what is called the base tune. but i dont have any custom tunes.
