Need Ideas on my V6

Hello guys i got an '99 v6 with about 113 hundred thousand miles and am looking into getting a new engine that i can turbocharge. Now i need some ideas on what would be the best way going about this...for instance what engine i should go with?

113 hundred thousand equals 11,300,000 if my equation is correct. the hundred is redundant.

The same 3.8 engine should be fine. You could even rebuild your current engine with forged internals depending on how much money you have. A stock engine can be turbo'd and hold up pretty well to around 350 rwhp with a good une from what I've heard.

Yea as long as the block is fine. You don't even have to stroke it, but if you're going in there you might as well. Single turbo is good I would say. I'm not sure how much you can make with a single, I know its over 400. I'm sure the other guys know more about the specifics.

truthfully IMO unless the car has been babied and taken very very good care of u prolly should just sell it and get a car with less mileage. now everyone might not have the same opinion as me, but at that mileage if u pull the motor and rebuild it, u still have to remember that everything else on the car also has that big mileage. so if ur looking to make high hp u are stressing old parts which is just gonna cause you more trouble down the road. hell i debated doing mine, but i only had 73k on mine and i came across a deal i couldnt refuse.

+1 with Johnson, suspension, tranny, pumps, everything has those miles as well... it's all about how much money and time you want to spend, and what you want the final product to be. You can completely rebuild the car and it will be awesome for you, or buy a new car that is in great condition and then mod that... choices choices decisions and decisions...
