5.0 in a 2001 mustang


If i find a good donor car... will a 5.0L engine fit in an 01 mustang body??? i have a good idea for a donor with computer and tranny and all that... but will it fit?

ur going to need more the just the motor tranny and ecu bud ur looking at a full under the hood swap mounts rad the whole 9 yards. also ur looking at maybe fender or fire wall mods to get it to fit.

No it will not be a easy drop your looking at 4-8 grand worth of work. IF you want to upgrade to an 8 drop in a 351 Windsor. It is an easy drop and will give you better numbers than a used 302

I would love a 5.0 great for modding...But for the price of the swap you could buy a fox body mustang
