rough idling problem

ok so my car has been sitting for about a month tops bc i've been out of town. well since the inspection was gonnna b up by the time i got back i went ahead and ordered the MIL eliminators from american muscle so that my shop could pass me(all they require is headers and muffler w/computer throwing no engine codes). so anyway i got back and installed the eliminators n went to crank up the engine but when i did it started idling rough n loud so i figured it might b i just need 2 disconnect the battery n reset the computer. after doin this it helped a little with the rough idling, but when i went for a test drive i can't go past 2k w/o it sounding like i'm popping popcorn lol

a friend and i have come to the conclusion it could b the spark plugs went bad, the fuel might b bad, or the eliminators r making the computer trip...any input or suggestions are helpful guys...thanks

sounds rough. i hope its nothing bigger than spark plugs (knock on wood).

my car idles real low and shakes my car when im at stop lights while holding down the brakes. idk, might be a similar problem?...idk. to prevent this from happening, i just put it in neutral while at stop lights. ...but i dont have any problems after take offs.

GL, i hope both of our problems get solved

if nothing has changed during that month im going to say its your gasoline. Maybe you have a rusty tank and it is clogging the fuel filter? I dont really know im just thinking while typing.
