that sounds completely pointless and ricery, not to mention probably bad for your car. Look at stock torque and power curves (and the rpm drops in between gears on most) and you'll understand. It is pointless to have the more agresive cam engaged until a certain rpm (where the computer turns it on)

Well, maybe I can see having that if you had some other worth while modifications on the engine that would actually change how it acted.

thas my take on it, but i have little honda experience, if some one actully know better then you can tell us why im wrong/right.

while we're on the subject of knocking VTEC engines....before i had my 99 V6 stang i had a 98 V6 VTEC accord, and i've noticed that the stang doesn't get up and go nearly as fast as my accord did. When i punched it in the honda the RPMS hit 6000 nearly instantly and when i floor it in the stang it likes to slooooooooowly creep up. Although the Honda i had doesnt respond to mods quite as well as the mustang it still was fun as hell to drive...i miss it...now it's laying in a junk yard with its frotn end compacted in literally a whole foot because some dumb bitch on her cellphone likes to be an idiot and turn infront of me.

oh I saw no point in it. I have no clue why he got it but he engaged it and the engine got louder and ew still sat at 45 for another 45-5 seconds.

in no way shape or form is a Honda Accord faster or quicker than a mustang but anyways..

a v-tec controller probably is pointless unless your honda is modded.. but notice he did say "all it did was get louder thats about it"..

anyway you look at it v-tec are panzy motors..
