I'm thinking about getting this set up, what do you think?

I have been looking around on Youtube for some time now and finally decided what sound I want for my V6.

2001 Ford Mustang V6 revving and idling
Stock Shorty Headers
Custom made O/R H-Pipe
Flwomaster Original 40 series mufflers
Magnaflow 18x4" SS Tips
2.5" Exhaust Piping
I really like that one. Sounds good for a V6 IMO.

What do you guys think?

Meh, still. I don't care what other people run.

I like it. Perhaps I might get it.

It sounds good and looks good...I like a more "hard core" and cheaper, cut "Y"-pipe on dual 40s or thrush "weldeds" NO TAIL PIPES, just turn-downs!
Give it that "Mad Max" image! LOL

NO, mine is alot more simple to make then that and runs only $200..stock headers, stock "Y" pipe that was cut behind the Cats, NO "H"-pipe, just two pipes going straight into two mufflers of your choice but I would only go with a chambered muffler like a Flowmaster 40..but I went to a Thrush "Welded" model ($40 each) that is really similar to a 40..then after the mufflers I just went with "turn-downs"...no tailpipes out the back..some ppl call them "Dumps" because the exhaust is just "dumped" underneath the car right in front of the rear axle...total labor cost me about $100 so, total cost for me was under $200. Cheap, effective. You wont gain anything from most exhausts anyway unless youre making alot of hp...were all going for sound and looks! Long tube headers sound good but Ive heard that you wont gain any big Hp numbers unless youre 300hp+ and you can really only get that with forced induction! So, if youre NA just go for sound and price, youre not gaining anything else from them anyway! (or nothing to speak of)
