i need some help please
Ok. I know this may sound dumb and fell free to laugh. but i have been rebuilding my engine and it is all back to gather and i can not for the life of me find where this censer goes. I found where it plugs in to the wiring harness. and that is some where on the back left side of the engine near the cylinder head. But still have no idea where it goes. here is a picture of it.
![]() Any help figuring this out would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. -Michael

I keep looking at that thing and looking at it..only thing close to that on my 95 is the coolant temp sensor..thats up front, above the water pump right at the level with the lower intake maifold on my car...you sure its not that?? What ever it was, you probably didnt have to take it off, just had to unplug it..you remember WHY you took it off? That could give a clue as to what it is and where it goes..

That looks like the head temp sensor. On the 02+ I belive have a head temp sensor on the drivers side head .. it goes in the lowest hole closet to the block

yea i agree with plove71387 that is your cyl. head temp sensor. i think you should be able to get it in with the head on the motor.
