Tail Light Tint Install

I got my tint vinyls in today. They are not static cling, they're normal tint material. The instructions include a part where I'm heating and stretching a little here and there. It says a professional could easily install them and I don't wanna f*ck mine up. Would it be worth it to throw someone $10 to just install them that knows what they're doing??

yes, $10 is very UNBELIEVABLE cheap for labor on that.

i was thinking of tinting my tail-lights, but i heard it was illegal?

i did mine took me about 20 min a taillight. just use lots of soapy water and a hair dry to help it form to the cover's and you will be fine. just take you time.

i know some places its illegal, but im not sure if its a federal law or not. the nc law says you will fail inspection if you have any tint on your tails, BUT people still pass inspection with tinted tails. just like people manage to pass inspection with off-road midpipes. a lot of stuff we do is illegal, but its just never/rarely enforced.
