Problem with Grille Delete

I have a 99 v6 stang. i've recently gotten the grille delete kit, and it looks great. the worry i have with it, it looks like the radiator (i think its the radiator) is exposed to any flying material into the grille because it is WIDE open. is this a problem? a well sized rock could fit inside my grille now as well as bugs, bees, pebbles, debris on the road. i was thinking of putting a grille mesh behind it, but im not sure if i could or if it is even worth the hassle.

this link is not my car, but it is a pic of the exact setup i have

*u can easily see the exposed look it has

=and the reason i got this is for a more mean look. besides the exhaust being a good growl, the look also give more aggresive and growling look

if you want but a grill on the radiator to protect it but keep if away from the grill that way you still have the mean look but protect the radiator.

stang tech, nice car!...pretty much same thing here, but mine is red ...and we probly have a couple different mods.

im not exactly sure on what u were sayin tho. it was kind of hard to understand.

--what i got from it was, buy a grill on the radiator, but keep it away frmo the grill.

i was thinking of just going to a menards, or home depot or somewhere and just buy a sheet of black mesh. im not exactly sure where i would put it and how i would put it there to make sure it doesnt come loose and fall out while im driving. is there a specific peice or guard or something that i could buy that would protect the radiator?

does anyone else have this "grille delete" and worry about this problem?

It is suppose to be this way. The chances of something big enough to cause dmg going into your grill, passing your mustang emblem, and causing major issues is rare.

I have been driving with a Mach1 Grill delete for about 20k miles with no problems.

+1

I have had mine for about 5K, not has much as Zatrekaz but I had thought about the same thing but the possibility of that happening is slim to none.
