correct....it help alot...u ever notice a slight "lag" when ur ccar shift...that is basically gone....the 88 maro when the shift kit got put in it would spin the tires alot easier(it has posi)

summit is everywhere there should be one in canada
and the torque converter does just that converts your torque to the wheels more efficient than stock. Like if you power break now you will spin at about 1300 rpm but with a 2500 rpm stall torque converter you can rev up to 2500 and have your tires just sit there. The shift kit makes you able to manually shift your auto w/o lag and w/o hurting your tranny. You need to get a shifter though I hate useing the stock shifter cause I only have control on 2 out of 4 gears. Summit can be hard to find stuff on too auto zone can order from b&m as well
