well
Well, guys I have a new change of plans. For my 21st birthday my dad asked me if I wanted a 2006 mustang v6. I said yes, of course. Anyways, It is black with grey cloth interior power locks and windows. 5 Speed just like my white one. It also has 40k miles. I always wanted to modify my 95er and never did because dad always said I shouldnt waste money on it. Well he started mentioning helping me modify the 06 one and seemed just as excited as I am. I drove it and it seemed a little more peppy than mine and I fell in love instantly. It looks kind of plain now, but I think the first thing I am doing is exaust though. We got it for 10k, and I think I will try to sell the 95 v6 with the new motor for 2k. Any opinions anyone?

First thing I will do for sure is either exaust or cai and 70mm tb. i think the cai and 70mm tb will produce more results. Then save for a tuner. Im not sure what cai to get though. Any thoughts on the R2C intake system?

Don't waste your money on the TB...You won't gain very much from it in the cars current state.
Start with an Intake + tuner and exhaust

the jlt seems like it might be the best for the cost.. how much rwhp would it add stock with no tune? im guessing 5-8. I know I probably wont notice much until the tune, but whatever. Also is a 70mm tb safe or would it be to big? the piping on the jlt is supposively 75mm.
EDIT nvm. I guess I have to have the tuner with the JLT. ill go with the tuner/jlt combo then eventually. This will require a bit more saving.

well I have such a hard time deciding what I want to do, but I think i'm going to order H&R super sport springs first. Do I need CC plates or new shocks and struts? its like a 1.7 drop in front and 1.9 in the back. That seems like a huge drop. I just hope I dont scrape everything on my new car

I couldnt find a UDP for 2005-09 v6 anywhere or I would do that first. I checked like 6 sites.. the tuner and cai combo's claim 20hp with a 91 octane tune. Any thoughts? That seems like a pretty decent increase for 500$

Typically people say if your dropping 1.5" or more you need to get CC plates. So yes you should get them. I personally think you should get them with any drop, but thats just me

does udp's affect AC or drivability at all? Are they worth it to get? I found one made by Steeda and one made by ASP. The ASP one claims more hp and torque than the steeda one. The ASP/Steeda also requires a different belt.
ASP Its close to the bottom of the page. 2005 2006 2007 2008 Mustang Engine Parts at V6MustangStuff.com Steeda Steeda Underdrive Pulley - 4.0L V6 - '05-'09 Ford Mustang They look exactly the same.

Why does no one offer long tube headers for the 05+ v6's? This is ridiculous. I have looked everywhere.
EDIT: I found some headers made by mac. Does the prochamber sound good with the mac headers?
