Shift points

Ok so I read a while back that it was ok to set the shiftpoints(auto) to 6250 rpm...Well I seem to lose a lil power before it shifts. What is a good place to set it? I was thinking 6k. Also I ping off the rev limitor before it shifts itself any suggestions. Would upping the mph each gear changes help me out?

There is no point of setting your shift points that high peak power is made way behind that so there is no real advantage. Your are only going to damage your car. I beleive peak Hp is at 5,250rpm after that it's down hill.

woh why even want to set it up that high man. No real huge advantage of redlining it. I have never taken mine to the 4.8k redline, i always shift at 4.5k if i take it that high.
