Engine swap...worth it

So now that my stang is running right and getting decent mileage, I have been thinking of trying to trade my dd eclipse for a rwd project car. I could possibly get a 98 v6 stang in trade for it. That way I would have a shell for a 4v 4.6 or a 5.0 to go into. The only reservation I have is I would need to do a lotta swapping, and prolly some suspension work.

unless you have a complete donor car and lots of knowledge, its not worth it. it would be better just to buy a gt or better

easiest and best way to swap a V8 into a V6 is to sell the V6 and buy a GT or better. only V8 swap i would ever attempt is a carb'd 5.0 swap.

Just save a little bit more the gt's from those models aint that expensive just keep looking on ebay,craiglist,autotrader and you will find it...

Its a 94...so I'm thinking ill take the 98 6er anyway as a replacement daily. Then maybe later trade it for a 94, 95 GT.
