Help (Installing Cold Air Intake)


I just bought a cold air intake for a 99 mustang v6 off ebay and it did not come with instructions can anyone tell me how to intall it.

look at other pics of mustangs with CAI study it, and try it its pretty much the easiest thing to put in a car...

there should be two pipes. the smallier diameter one goes into the throttle body. and the larger one goes into your fender well. you will need to take the stock intake apart ang get the maf out of it. connect both tubes to the maf and reconnect the vac hoses and you are finished. shouldnt take more then 10 minutes

+1 and lol, but yeah it took a while.. those rubbery things didnt exactly want to go on and the pipes didnt exactly fit right for mine but its all good it took me about half an hour also

if i could redo my CAI now knowing exactly what to do i could not do it in 10min...it'd take 15 at least between getting it out, buildin it and putting it in and taking the old one out 15min is lucky...probably more like 30
