HID Light Questions

i was thinking about just buying the bulbs from a auto store and just putting them in . but some say it would burn up your wires or something . and someone on this forum is doing that and he saids he has no problems or ever had any (He had it for 1year). but what im asking is would it be okay to just put the lights in? without a kit? cause i dont wanna pay for repairs later just cause i messed that up.

and if yes then could anyone help me install them i know its easy just twist your bulb out . but i have no clue on that . and i dont feel like paying 80dollars for them to install it for me

you should be good dude. the only thing you wanna think about is the fact of having dirty stonk lenses with shiny new hid bulbs.

umm they won't look bright they will have the same brightness of your lights now just blue get the conversion kit it will be worth it

well im talking about the bluish halogen lights . and the brightness wouldnt matter alot to me . anyone know how to take out the stock bulbs?

ok well if you just want the color remover your head light assembly and you just turn the thing holding the bulb pull it out unscrew old bulb screw in new one.

oh your head light is your assembly it should just be held in with a few pins.

yeah just some pins...you have an 07 so i have no clue but everything from 93 to 04 was a couple pins....so i wouldnt need to wiring? just the bulbs? i will go pick some up then

To take out the headlights they will has clasp style pins where you have to squeeze the hell out of them and pull to get them through. Now with the 07's I havn't had a good look at them to see how to remove the headlight assemblies but give me a couple hours. I'm gonna take a look at some brand new cars at the auto show today so I will tell you when I get back.

ok the HID bulbs you are getting are HID STYLE they arent true HID bulbs. HID bulbs look like

the look alike ones look just like normal bulbs. you wont get that HID light feeling without the real HID's. sure it will be blue and a little bit brighter, but wont be HID. if you want some check HID STYLE lights then get them off ebay, only like $9 +shipping
