i bought the most unexpected thing! TWIN TURBO

ok, yesterday i had my TT setup put in. I thought i couldnt get one because id cost over 6K but ha! it cost $2900 and $450 to tune it. i bought just the 2 actual turbos made for a 5.0($400) and my mechanic welded the pipes. right now theyre only runing at 4 psi each but they can go up to 15. ill get pics as soon as i install my camera software.

no stock motor, thats why its at 8 psi total. Im gonna work on it throughout the summer and hopefully put forged internals in so i can turnup the psi.

and GreenFaleen. i dont see why it would be more, the only problem he said were the headers everything else aint much more then bending and welding some parts

well he fabbed the headers, i had mac lt's so thats why he had a hard time with that. and i got a borla with a h pipe. the turbos are 4 psi each so its a good amount of power for now. i cant waid to see 15psi out of each turbo!

what stage are the turbos? if they only max out at 15 psi per turbo then they must be stage 1. my friend has a stage 3 garrett turbo and it can handle 30psi.

The boost that each turbo generates do not add up. 4 for each compressor is 4 psi for the system, period.

im kinda sceptical . not to mention why would someone running a twin turbo 5.0 leave their twin turbo set up in the junkyard?
