caliper pistons


cant get the damn things to push in, and i got no brake fluid around the house so i cant just bleed em.

any tips on gettin the suckers in.

use a c-clamp

also consider removing the cap from your master cylinder reservoir so alleviate some pressure

samething happend to mine.
they're probably zeezed or stuck. you'll need new ones

oh ya i forgot to tell you to take the cap off... -_- take off the cap then squish em down with a c-clamp.

mine seized 2 days after i drove off the lot lol warranty tho and a common mistake ppl make is when there pads are worn there fluid gets low and they ad more then when they replace the pads they have to much fluid in there system don't be surprised if the master cylinder over flows when u take the cap off and depress the pistons in if you have added fluid

no i took the cap off and put a little peice of metal over the pistons before i put the c clamp on but i was tightening the clamp the metal fell off and i didnt notice until it was too late. to make a short story shorter, im waitin on a new caliper to come in. so im stuck driving a suburban for a few days. =(
