'02 4spd auto to 5spd auto swap...possible?

I have a used 2002 mustang with some damage to the 4spd auto transmission and thought it would be a good oportunity to add a 5spd auto if it is possible. I always thought that one more gear would make a big difference in the feel of the car and the 2005+ models have the 5spd's so would one of those be compatible witha 2002? Ideally I would also like the option to use +/- or D if possible.

I'm pretty sure it has a different bellhousing pattern, so it won't even bolt on to the engine.

It is possible to change your auto tranny for a manual but how much do you want to spend? it will be more than $800.

I want a 5-speed auto, NOT manual. If the housng on the 2005 tranny doesn't match is there another 5-spd auto that will? I may need a new transmission either way so I'd rather find a 5spd auto to use rather than another 4spd.
