So I saw a tungsten grey V6 tonight with black pinstripes. It also had a Flowmaster and some other detailing. Anyway, those black stripes looked really nice. It made the car look really agressive. I'm still kinda leaning towards silver, but as I'm doing my dual exhaust first, I have time to think about it.

I don't know who you know but blue stripes on my white stang are going to run $1,300. $500 would get you vinyl stripes or a crappy paint job.

Victoria, the silver stripes definitely would be the better choice on your ride, especially if you can get the black side stripes replaced by matching silver stripes. That would be sweet.

I'm leaning towards the silver. I'm planning to definitely remove the black stripes on the sides, but I might not replace them. I'm going to be installing the tungsten grey GT rocker panels to replace the black V6 ones.

My bad as I forgot about the rocker panel replacement. With those the side stripes will be too much. If you get the silver racing stripes with the rocker panels your ride will be smoking hot, especially with the dual exhaust.

Tint (for the windows, I'm assuming) is on the agenda, just not yet. The car I saw last night was a tungsten V6 with that exact stripe scheme. It's possible the guy was trying to go for an Eleanor look. I like that look, too, but to me the silver is just a better match for the gray. My interior is black, though, so I like the black cues I currently have on my car to go with that. I'll lose them when I go silver, but oh well. Always a trade-off.

I just had an idea pop into my head. I have't seen it in pictures, so I'm not sure exactly what it would look like, but what do you guys think of tungsten gray with alloy stripes? I'll bet it'd look interesting.
