out of those 2 the gt take offs will sound better. check out youtube or the exhaust clip sticky on here. i havent heard a pypes set up that i like.
so out of those 2, i would definitely go with gt take offs, but you could look around to see if you find anything you like better. theyres tons of options out there. a lot of people on here are going to tell you "flowmaster 40s and h pipe".

yeah i know i got soem opinions on that about the flowmasters..down the road i plan on doing that...ive been searching on youtube and looking for dual for like 5 months i cant decide.. i mean i think the pypes has louder pipes but i am really nto sure i can not decide, but some GT takeoff vids sound louder. But i need a kit that will make it louder then stock

remember, loud doesnt mean good. whatever you do, as long as you get rid of the y-pipe, should be louder than stock. its kind of hard to get an idea of exactly how loud something is through a vid, they just give you an idea of the tone it has. you could go with divorced duals instead of an h pipe which will make it louder. you have the option of an x-pipe, but they tend to sound raspy on our cars.

If you plan on going Flows down the road why are getting anything right now? Pretty much throwing money out the window as you drive off... if you think at all that you want Flows now, you wont be satisfied with GT take-offs. save up the extra couple hundred off the jump and do it once. my 2 cents.

oh, the 4.0...i thought we were talking about a 3.8.

but, im not sure how that gt take off kit sounds for the s197s, and ive really never even heard any opinions of pypes on the 4.0s. but what i have heard is the flowmaster american thunders sound pretty nice on the 4.0. summitracing has the a/t catbacks.

this will be better in the 4.0 section though...thats where youll get the best help with your car.
