Window tinting! What do you guys think about buying that and doing it my self instead of paying $200 to have pros do it? I read the installation notes and it seemed really easy 1. Clean your windows 2. Spray water (with a touch of soap) onto the inside of your windows 3. Peel off the window tint pre-cut shape 4. Position the window tint pre-cut shape onto your window (With the adhesive side facing the glass) 5. Use a soft squeegee to pull out all the water between your window and window film. (Work out all the bubbles at this time if any appear) 6. The adhesive will dry within 24 hours |

Just after I left the shop I pulled up behind someone with a back window that had enough air bubbles that it looked like bubblewrap. Good luck if you do decide to do it but you can't beat a pro job on window tinting. It does take about 3 days for the tint to fully dry. During the drying time the windows may look foggy or milky but that will clear up. Definitely put masking tape or something else across your window switches so you don't accidentally put your window down. |
