How hard is it to do the 4.2 or 4.3 swap?? Is it worth it?

Appearntly as hard as using the search feature.
Are you talking about doing a stroker kit or a 4.2L outta a F150? |

How to: 4.2L mustang swap
Is what I found using a quick google search. From what I thought before googling its pretty much plug and play. |

Its not worth all the hassel for such a small gain in horse power/Torque. It would make more sence to get a Stroker/Forged internal or just build your stock engine up.

Depends on what you mean by worth it. And what your budget is. And goals for your stang. If he only wants to make NA power then a 4.2 is a 4.2. Now its a different story if he wants to later go FI, then deffinately get a forged kit.

You're taking a 4.2 outta a truck, that's a torquey motor. The stroker if I'm not mistaken isn't as much, and really you can get a lot out of the stock 3.8 bottom end if you just do some work on the internals and top end. What are you trying to turn the car into? That helps to know which direction to take.
