lol nice, i guess every car is unique in its own way, like i said mine damn near breathed fire after the exhaust, but with just the CAI, it felt a little sluggish

Henry's Muffler on Capital is the best around. probably around 250-300 t get the exhaust done.

Get the mufflers offline cheaper and youll save money piping is only like 50-100 to have done.

Also dnt know how ofter you go home Scott but American Muffler downtown in Lenoir is who does all my work, they did my mustang for 400 and that was true dueal with a crossover bar, flowmaster 40s, and really expensive tips to fit my body kit,
they will pipe it for 75 if you have the mufflers

I don't go home enough to make it worth driving all the way down there, I'm heading this weekend but there's not currently any seats in mine so I'll be taking the girlfriend's car down. I do appreciate the heads up on the shop, I'll pick up some Flowmaster 40's online and have someone fab the rest of the exhaust.

Is there anything else I need other than the mufflers? I hear about o2 sensors and MIL eliminators and whatnot, I just want to make sure when I get it all that I can get it done in one shot and have it work right.

The only time you will need MIL eliminators is if you go catless. And in NC you will not pass inspection if you decide to go catless

Well thats good, but if still want a better sound you can probably get high flow cats. I dont know if they are legal in NC.

my tC is catless i have no problems with it. With MILs he would be fine sine there would be no code, but the v6 sounds better with cats anyway IMHO.

but yeah if you have someone fabbing it just have them start after the 2nd o2 sensors

I'm not hugely concerned with sound, good is really good enough for me and if the only issue is tone then its not a big deal, performance is what I'm shooting for. I think with some flowmasters on there it ought to be good enough.

magnaflows give slightly better performance than flowmaster, but the flows sound better

magnaflows will only net you an extra 2-4hp over the flows though... but then again... when you are going for pure performance, every little bit helps
