if you get it at amuffler shop they can hang them below the bumper unless you have a cut out already then it might look weird. Flows 40's will be louder and throatier than the stock gt mufflers.

The V6 does indeed have a single cutout thus making the hanging difficult for visual purposes. A cutout could be added to the left side but for the cost of that work to make it look decent it would be cheaper to get the bumper.

A looked into all of this today. I have the bumper on order so once that arrives in 4 days I will be all set to go.

Yeah I can see why you need the new bumper that sucks.

That's what I'm doing, too. Getting the GT bumper put on along with the new exhaust.

I'm with you on that! I could have used that $400 for something else.

I was a bit surprised that he said that, and I told him I'd not heard of that much hp just from exhaust. He started getting technical and telling me things that pretty much went over my head, but basically he stated that they will put out 35 more hp.

Maybe ScreamingYellow can comment on that? Is it really that much? If I'm not mistaken I think you have stock GT duals...

I never had single :-P, but buddy of mine has a stock 06' v6 with the single and it def sounds better than his

as Far as HP I haven't taken it to the dyno yet, I got some scheduled maint. this Mon and I'll talk to my buddy Gunner (Ford Master Mech) and see what kind of numbers it puts out as opposed to the single.

Sweet. That'll be interesting. I'm curious to know if its louder than the single exhaust. I love the sound my Mustang makes, but I want it to be louder. I hope that the duals help me in that department.

I gaurentee it's louder for the simple fact you have twice the exhaust, and I personally think it sounds better than the stock v6 single exhaust.

Awesome. Can't wait to have it done. I'm hoping to have it done not this coming week but the next.
