So i have a few Qs cause i dont own a v-6 but my good buddy has one its a 95 and We found a supercharger outta a supercoupe thunderbird now, heres my question will it fit what do i need from it and also its 400 is that a good price?

Another Question is we went to a mufflershop and this guy told us that headers wont do anything at all for a v-6 so there is no point in putting in a fullexhaust and he said something about welding it on or something... i told my friend it wont be enough to notice the differnce but headers will prob make it sound better with a good pair of catbacks and if you get the supercharger so what do you guys think about this?

he does not have the SC block. that is a full list of what you need, but there is some custom stuff that will need to be done as well. this project can get expensive (im working on the project myself) and can be a huge headache. its a good way to go for us single ports, but its no simple bolt on job.

as for the exhaust, long tube headers to h-pipe to catback is ideal. you will notice power gains and a huge difference in sound

that is nowhere near everything. you need everything in the link that safi posted. what is there on ebay is just the basics.. you need all the pulleys, water pump, and loads of other stuff

thats a lot of the parts, but not everything. you will not find a full kit that someone is selling.. it jsut wont happen. there will always be extra parts you will need to get

and dont forget this either. even if you have all the parts, you will need a tune for it as well before you can even start the engine. you will need a flash tuner and tune to put in, and if theres no dyno around, you will need a wideband to datalog and send to a tuner (vmptuning.com or tricktuners.com).

he will jump to approx 220rwhp and 330rwtq (those numbers are approx.. but look to have no less 200rwhp and 300rwtq). ask him if its worth it lol. vmptuning sells the x-cal 2/3 and a tune for the supercoupe swap, you just need to datalog and email tune to get it perfect. vmptuning sells everything you need... but the tune has certain requirements that are on the page (VMP Tuning - Buy Ford SCT & GM Custom Handheld Flash Tuners Performance Economy Towing: 94-98 3.8L Mustang with M90 Supercoupe Supercharger)

also, unless you do some custom work, he will lose his a/c and cruise control

you are going to be best off finding a complete donor car instead of trying to piece all of the stuff together finding everything takes time a ton of money and this install takes a ton of little tiny stuff that will nickel and dime you to hell without the donor, plus the supercoupe block is forged, which is always a bonus lol

That first link you found on ebay is WAY overpriced for what what it comes with. The second link you found I wouldn't trust because if you read the description it says the one pictured is not the one selling; don't trust it.

Toph6888, the SuperCoupe is not forged. the rods are stronger than ours, but not forged. the block is the same, with different internals (lower compression pistons, stronger rods). the heads are stronger than off the stang as well. the mustang has a higher compression ratio, so you will see more power off a stock mustang engine with the m90 than a stock supercoupe.
