i agree. thats why i changed to manual. lol. Oh and if you look around long enough you can find a decent price for a t5. i got mine for $500 shipped and it was in great shape and had a rebuilt tag on it. I've yet to have a problem with it.

you got a good deal =( plus t-5s are pretty common 99-04 trannys you basically gotta hope you find one in a junkyard or buy a new one

i looked for a longgg time. over about a period of a month. i had the money to buy it and i knew how much i was gonna spend so i kept lookin. i came upon it one day and it had a buy it now. the guy had it listed for maybe 2 hours and it was early morning so i snatched it up before someone else did. lol

idk, i didnt look. cant be too high. mines 163 000 so yea...

I just bought a T45 out of a 2003 GT with 60k on it for 400$. This included the ECU and clutch/flywheel, etc.

I just got lucky with craigslist.

i thought i was the only one who knew about that site. what did you type in? just t-5 transmission?

Well if you get a used transmission it doesnt really cost much do, the works pretty simple but if u cant do it urself dont try it, better off having someone do it for u, a lifts not necessary but is a huge help, i have one in my garage but thats not the point just swap it to manual its better in the long run

yea, the one in the junkyard is 550 bucks, but i want to find something cheaper
