What I wanna know is, are there any power adders that won't work with a auto?

your looking at about $1200 in parts depending on prices you can find. i got everything i needed off eBay. and it depends where your going to get it installed. i had a friend of mine install mine so he charged me $175 but honestly its not that difficult. you'll need access to a car lift and transmission jack.

unless you are dead set on getting one a shift kit will give you the same results or just trade you car for a like one with a 5 speed it will be easier.

Yea I can't swap cars because I had some things just put on my car that would be a pain in the ass to switch over like my new viper alarm. So I'm new to modding so can you hook me up with links for some parts I'll need?

you'll need...

-t5 transmission
-t5 v6 bellhousing
-t5 v6 input shaft
^^Youll have all these things if you get the trans from a v6 car..obviously
-clutch/brake pedal assembly
-clutch cable
-Clutch Kit (clutch pack, pilot bearing, fork, install guide pin, etc)
-T5 manual transmission yoke to swap to your driveshaft or just get a driveshaft with yoke from a manual.
-manual tranny ecm from same year car
-shift knob and boot of choice

yea i think thats everything.. lol

unless you know a place or person you can sell your auto tranny too its not worth too much. on ebay they're uber cheap even with low miles. i still have my old transmission, just cant get rid of the damn thing. you might get a few bucks off the old brake pedal assembly or ecm but dont expect much.

i was trying to do the same thing . except people told me it would be cheaper if you just trade it in for a manual tranny . for me it would cost 2grand for the swap . and couple more thousands for them to change the computer stuff around or something
