P&P Upper Intake Manifold
Do people get the stock intake manifolds ported or just get different manifolds? I have one that I ported and polished (gasket matched) and I'm going to get a Windstar set up so I'll probably be selling it.

from what ive heard and dealt with people usually send in their stock manifold and get sent the P and Ped manifold in return so the sender always has a manifold in stock to port and polish.

I have an upper intake that is port and polished for sale if you're interested. $200 shipped. Has zero miles on it since the port and polish job was done.

yes people get them P&P.
Make sure you get your lower P&P throughout as well before you put on the windstar. IMO that would be some really nice gains.

ok i got a random question ik i have been looking at p@p for a bit. i have read many different articles on how to and i recently helped my friend gasket match his intake and heads on his 74 chevelle. I was wondering if i would be able to do my upper and lower on my own if i had time and went slow? and i was wondering how u get inside the runners far enough to do the whole runner? and if i did would i feel a big difference? i have cai, dual exhaust, sct xcall3, udp, 3.73 and tlok.

yea you should be able to do it yourself. I did mine and am going to do the lower and heads a little bit before I put on the windstar and put it back together. Heck I might even wait til I get my cam to do it and save myself a teardown. If you would want to buy mine I'd sell it for like 120. Its not perfect, but its pretty good i think and I would send pics if u wanted. Oh and if u do do it yourself, you can't really get all the way down the runners, or even to deep for that matter. but what I did was just get some sandpaper and run it down around the bends as far as I could reach with my finger. Just take your time on it and it should turn out pretty good. And btw does anyone know if you can reuse the gaskets between the upper and lower at all? I thought I heard people say they did.

You would feel a slight difference but I highly recommend doing your heads and cams at the same time.
