Here in North Carolina the cops use stangs as unmarked pursuit vehicals. They've also been used to infiltrate Street Racing. Those things actually scare the hell out of me too.

+1 here in chicago, cops drive those interceptors and some suburban cops have the new dodge chargers. not a good idea to try and outrun them. outcome is never good. i've also seen undercover cops driving stangs lookin for dumbass racers on the road.

My bro was their but since no one had raced yet, they cold only really get them on a loitering charge. He said it started with a mustang rolling in and then just blocking off the main exit out.
