stang sounds diff is my stang missing a part ??


i have recently ben lookin around in the engine bay and i see this in my car in the pic its the arm thing that is attached from the fire wall and goes towrd control arm, NOW i look at the other side and i dont see it over ther >>??? i see the spot where it shuld be but ther is just a hole with a rubber gromet looking thing there is this ok ???

yeah thats your steering shaft. It connects your steering wheel to the rack and pinion. you shouldn't have one on the passenger side.

the port with the rubber stud on the passenger's side is probably a bypassed heater core.
