i was wondering if i cut a hole in the hood under the scoop and took the scoop grille out would it still pull air? i want to keep stock hood but could i still hide the ram underneath it?

I don't think the stock hood is big enough............ on the other hand I was talking to a guy about the very same thing and he said that he might be able to turn it into a functional scoop though. that would be cool but we haven't had time to talk about it.

Only thing is is it worth 3xs the price because i've heard the ram isn't really big enough to catch enough air to matter

i mean how much air does it need before performance is no longer an option? i mean if i put a brazilian hooker in the engine i mean if she can suck a basketball through a garden hose where does the performance stop like rwhp and traction

Alright...heres the deal. The ram air is really for that cool shaker look, and to see it move from you revving your engine. Yes, it is beneficial, but at what point is air physically rammed into your engine? The answer is at higher speeds. Yes, both a cai and ram air is beneficial, but they do the same thing. One is not better than the other, so I would always opt for the cheaper cai.
