you'd need new engine mounts etc. i personally wouldnt do it, because of the many requirments. but hey, i know the feeling. welcome to modded mustangs!

im assuming its either a used or a "stock-like" crate 5.0? if so i say dont waste your time and money. put a better engine in it. maybe the 5.4L in the cobra r or the 4.6L 4v of the svt cobra. the 5.0 by itself isnt that powerful.

GreenFaleen Resident MM Ricer 2006 Scion tC 13.9@103/8.9@81 Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Raleigh/Lenoir, NC Posts: 9,385	well the 351 is an easier drop than the 5.0 but you still need new tranny and other various parts. the 4.2l stroker is just a new 3.8 with a stroker kit on it you can get one for 2 grand and maybe another 2 grand for install you'll be in the 200 horses range already with that.
