Throttle body and spacer??????
Hey guys i am looking into buying a new throttle body and a throttle body spacer. I have a 2002 V6 and ive looked around alot and this is what i found.
AccuFab Throttle Body for the Ford Mustang V-6 Thats the throttle body I want the 70mm. one And thats the Spacer so i just wanted to know if these were a good choice or not. Or really any suggestions or whatever. Thank Jr. Pony

the accufab is a good product and 70mm is a good choice, as for the spacer im not running one so i dont know much about them but apparently your suppose to be like 2-4 hp but i highly doubt it

1) You want help with a v6 and you post in the v8 section
2) I've read spacers actually help the v6's because it gives them longer runners. Not sure about your intake manifold because I think an 02 is split port ![]() 3) That spacer looks a little too "tornado"-y to me.

What mods do you have? TB and a spacer won't do much of anything for you unless (until) you get new (windstar) or p&p intakes. I've also heard that even at that point a spacer is a paperweight in your engine bay. Def. once you get the intakes ported you can get a larger TB matched up.

ya goren is right, the stock throttle body on our cars already give the stock intakes as much air as they need.
