it is like the clutch of the automatic. Allows the engine to turn while the wheels and gears come to a stop so your car doesn't stall. A higher rpm stall torque converter allows you to let the engine have more rpms from a stall so you can have higher rpms for a launch like when the manual guys push in the clutch and rev the engine to get there rpms up for a better launch.

Well I checked the prices and they vary from 190 to 230 it seems. Which is not bad at all. Would it be fine if I went out and bought this and had it installed before the whole shift kit?

Ohh and will my car launch alot stronger assuming my tires aren't bald?

probably around 350 installed autozone carries the whole line up for about 250-300 your looking at a model for 250 if you want one for your gt get the 2400. 2000 will be alittle low for you. also get it installed at the same time as the shift improvement kit so you don't have to open the transmission twice.

**you get those links I sent you of the videos?**

yeah you'll get a good launch better to get it all at once. and get used to the shifting of it all at once rather than piece by piece.

I hear you. Well I guess next weeknd I'll order the stall 8)

What really sucks is this.

I have 4:10's
t-lok
bearing kit

In the mail

sct tuner
new belt
pulleys

None of which are installed. The gears and what not are packed in boxes next to me lol.

I will have enough for the stall come next weeknd. Then I need to save for the shifter then the sift kit. And folled by installation fee's. But having a job were all your paychecks go to your car has it's benefits right?lol

I still need to buy a cai, exhaust, 2 bigger back rims for bigger tires. Hopefully when I finish getting that all installed I could hit 14's??

be sure to get the tuner files emailed to you so you can adjust it for your gears and what not through the software they send you.

man I'm running 15.3-15.5 and I'm not anywhere near that setup. It may take awhile to find the sweet spot with that shift kit but once you do you'll be set.

So in the end I can get the shift kit, with the shifter from autozone. And I just get the stall converter offline?
