Cam Installed (video)

Just installed a 207/215 regrind from SSStang.

The squeeling sound is my throw out bearing, (stock clutch is about gone.) But the new clutch (Spec-1) and flywheel are in the passenger seat waiting to be installed.

Current Performance Mods:
Windstar Upper Intake Swap, P&P'ed Lower Intake (EGR deleted), Fenderwell Cold Air Intake, AT2525 muffler, Cam (207/215)

Future Performance Mods:
Dual Exhaust(X-pipe, AT2525 mufflers,Longtubes) Tuner C

The interesting thing is that is going through stock exhaust and (1) muffler.

I know the video sucks but I took it when it was raining and it's a webcam I bought off of ebay for literally $1.00 lol but hell it worked. I'll try and get my girlfriend to send me the digi to get a better recording for you guys.

Oh and I think it's choking on the exhaust b/c it seems to smoke around the exhaust manifolds now when I rev it up.
I've been told the stock exhaust manifolds tend to go bad pretty easily. Oh well hopefully I'll get the longtubes before the end of summer. Just need to find a good deal on them.

I'd like to hear how that sounds on mine. I have GT takeoffs with the stock cats. I dont really want it too loud, just a bit rough at idle. Does anyone know of a vid that would be like my car?

Try searching the exhaust setup thread. Might be able to find something there.

check out youtube, if it's on there then that's really about as good as your gonna get unless you can find someone with the same setup and listen to it in person. Always sounds best in person, IMHO.

I doubt searching this site is going to get you many cammed v6 mustangs.

Youtube would be the best bet.

EDIT:
207/215 through dual flows.

yea I did search this site and didn't find anything that was really close. But thanks for the vid. Mine will probably be a little quieter because it has the GT takeoffs. But I really do like how they sound on mine. A little to quiet at idle once warm, but revving it sounds good.

The very first Youtube hits for "Cammed V6 Mustang Exhaust", "V6 Mustang Cam", etc:

Cobra (GT) take-off exhaust listed at the beginning of the first vid.

New vid coming soon. This time with a new clutch, which means no annoying TOB noises.
