check engine light on


if you get a diagnostic test run on it what are all the problems that can show up and what are the most common?

from what i hear, alot of times it's just your o2 sensor. what year stang is it?

there are hundreds of diagnostic codes and none are most common i suppose you have the possibility of having any of them some show them selves mor often then others but usually when u start to mod your car forinstance using an off road h or x pipe will make your engine throw an o2 sensor code unless u get it modified not to.

get a code from autozone they will check for you and post it we can tell you if it is a 99-00 it is probably your rear o2 sensor.

i didnt think rear o2's threw a code just triggered the light and generic obd2 wont grab it i thought.

after alot of miles, it will usually throw a lean code or 02 sensor code. at least thats my experience with fords. my mustang, my dads f-150, and another truck.

ive experienced alot of egr low or no flow codes ended up being a 2 dollar part i think its called pvc valve or pcv valve.

any ford i've ever own or my buddy worked on he disconnected the o2 sensor
so it wouldnt throw the check engine light unless theres a real problem.

yeah it want I was just saying thats more than likly the problem especially with no code. The x-cals disable them now in every tune you get.
