At long last..

I finally got my 8.8 rear-end installed with t-lok and 4.10 gears. It feels so good to drive my baby again but I am scared to get on it after what happend to my rear-end. Anyways.. I am gonna run it up to the dyno shop this weekend and see what my numbers are. Hopefully by then I'll be running 93 octane. And I trashed my exhaust and got a MAC cat-back

The beast is back!

right now 89 v.v i want to set it up for a less aggressive tune for 93, i got my last numbers on 93 but i didnt use it otherwise lol..

my bro owns like half of the dyno shop so i get to tune up for cheap when no other cars are there.. but i am saving for a s/c right now.. only 1k off.. im so close i already took out my pulleys haha

367rwhp 384rwtq.. is your hp and tq claim
what do you have that has your car n/a and pulls those numbers

not even a 4.2L stroker with a stage 3 p/p and bolt ons would pull those Rear wheel numbers
230-with stroker
stage 3 p/p-90hp-----320
FULL bolt ons with tune maybe 360-370 BHP....at the crank

maybe you do have those numbers but i cant see how

w/ a S/C at 11psi ill be running 11s easy and i dont need more than that.. and yes its a personal preference lol i just love the whine and how it makes the exhaust sound..

i feel like turbos sound ricey in the sense they remind me of tuners, and they rob the natural exhaust sound and make it sound bad to me

yes scuba i installed it myself with help.. its not possible for one person to do.. that bitch is heavy

Well you need a twin screw in order to whine. And no one ever goes that route with a v6. Which s/c are u buying?

a blower does nothign to the exhaust sound almost...its just more air faster through it

turboed rides can sound the same...just get a muffler
your car turboed will smoke your car with a procharger

a blower makes the exhaust alot choppy'er sounding and it gets a bit louder (that comes with more air faster through it)

i really wanna take the time to put a KB S/C in it.. but i may end up getting a Turbo from TMA.. i will never know until i get the money and get ready to buy it.. i have done that with everything i ever owned.. i say i want this i save up and get a different version of what i wanted.

any supercharger at high boost will whine.. just maybe as not as much as others

Which centrifugal whines. I've been in a procharged car and it just sounded as if it was turboed. And from what I have witnessed vortech's are just really quiet.

centrifugal you hear better outside the car while a roots style s/c you can hear in the car just as well as outside it mainly because of location.

you can hear a roots style coming from down the road.. a centrifugal you have to be in the car or right by it but they can be pretty loud

Well I was in a pro-charged 03 cobra with 540 (which was the sickest thing ever) and it sounded like this. Go shhhhh but really long and drawn out as if you were building boost in your mouth. And every other pro-charged mustang and vettes I've seen seemed to have all ways made the same noises on the outside.
