cheap modifications


i am 16 years old, and i dont have alot of money. i am looking to enhance my 1999 3.8L v6 5speed mustang without spending a fortune. basically i want to spend less then $3,000 dollars but still be able to show off what i got

well shit theres alot u can do with 3,000 i kinda wish i had that much but u can start with a

CAI
exhaust
rims
UDP
gears
tlok
lowering it
cams

orrr just get the TMA turbo kit set it to 4 psi untill u ad Forged internals to up the boost later on but yeah any of those

well theres a crap load of rims out there look on ebay find a kind u like and performance well u have a list right there for u

rims will cost you about $400-$500 for the rims and another $400 for the tires or $500
performance...best thing to do for the most out of what you have is to get a power pak($1800 adds 70hp) you could do that and exhaust and intake and other bolts on and have a pretty quick car. in the 13s for sure.

how much does cai help? my dad thinks its a waste of money but ive heard that it helps alot but i don't exactly how much it helps. and whats udp and tlok

so okay if i did a power pack and my car is stock well except a intake and a exhaust soon but anyways what would my rwhp be at with a power pack intake and exhaust

i already have nice tires - bfgoodrich g-force sports - and i want some 5 spoke chrome rims, similiar to the gts

it helps very minamal..but for $40...its worth it

depending on the power pak...probably 260bhp or more

ok cold air intakes are not a waste of money for one they make ur engine sound better it brings in cold air which cold air is more dense so that means more u can bring in the piston to push out to create powerrr sooo yeah they only add like 1-3 but still its good to get and better gas mileage

in order for those tires to fit on your new rims you'd have to find rims that are 16x8 most likely

usually when most stang owners get rims they'll get 17x9 or 18x9 rims...the tires wont work

well isnt it liek 190 to fly and 164 rwhp ? so wouldnt it be like 240 give or take idk lol

190+70=260 lol but your car might not make that power right now
look at AB's car, hes got all the bolt ons and his rwhp is 164...
