If he's asking questions like what spark plugs do I get? Etc.... He shouldn't be messing or even considering nitrous oxide. He's gonna get himself killed. Do more research. Obviously you shouldn't be getting into this kind of a mod. It's by far not a safe investment if until you know how it all works.

I totally disagree with you. N2O is not as dangerous as everyone makes it seem. Sure he needs to learn a lot about it as with any mod really, but telling him he shouldn't be messing with it simply because he is asking questions is wrong. He is obviously trying to learn right?

We were all noobs once. Hell, he probably knows more than I do about N2O at this point if he is doing any reading on it. Not going that direction with my car so I really dont care to learn much about it yet.

A 75 shot is not that big its like having a 1/4 more throttle, if he gets the NX it will be 235 to the wheels aprox, so practically it will be like having a gt obviously except for the motor and sound. GT's 0-60=5.5sec aprox 1/4 mile 14.2 aprox... Plus with his bolt ons it will do better.

I am going today to a drag strip to see how long it takes me to do a 1/4 mile. No nitrous yet but I have a tuner and my few mods.

1/4 more throttle? A 75 shot took 2 seconds off my et, so im gonna say thats a bit more than 1/4 throttle.

I agree. If you don't know what a "colder" sparkplug is, you either need to just buy the entire kit and have someone else install it, or find another mod.

N20 is very dangerous in the hands of someone that doesn't understand basic car know-how, terms, and how the actual product works. We all were noobs, yes, but a days worth of reading a jegs magazine doesn't make you ready to put on a major power adder.

I hope he does it right and it works amazing like it did for me, but i went in with alot of car knowledge and even today i'm amazed everything went as well as it did during my installation.

They can run mid/high 15's but still a lot of v6s run 16s. Depends on the car and driver. A 75 shot alone usually won't cut a full 2 seconds though...

Cause I had ETs? As in drag radials?

I went 16.6 stock with 18s, then 14.39 with 4:10s and nitrous, so i rounded a lil.
