4.10:1 ring and pinion gears and a frpp t-lok differential will shave about .5 off your e/t. when i had full bolt ons and added gear/lsd, it shaved .5 off my e/t... invest in some drag radials too.

Lower it for a better weight transfer, u/d pulleys and tuner as it has been said, and also as it has been said the t-lok and the gears. Dunno how fast you can get money in, but if you can check out www.supersixmotorsports.com and invest in a powerpak. You will def humilate the ricers, and keep up with the tuners who were fortunate enough to get a fast import, and thats if you don't pass them.

also remove the front sway bar for weight transfer, run as little fuel as possible, and practice your launches. the 1/4 is defined in the first 60'

Most ppl dont care but a 99-04 v6 mustang can slap down what like a 14.5- 15.5 timeslip. Back in the day it took a stock '70 or '71 mustang mach 1 to run the exact same time. It may not seem like you are hauling ass compared to modern muscle but it is still quick. cant argue with the #'s

well guys, thank you so much. this is going to sound stupid but i have never strip raced. only street. and how do you double clutch? and would it be worth it to put 120oct in the car. i know the 3.8 does not have any compression at all. its just so low it surprised the heck out of me.

So you are saying remove the front sway bar for better weight transfer
this well not hurt the car in anyway. This will not change the alignment.

I still have my front sway bar on, i also lower my stang. So i should take
the sway bar off for better handling.

gives considerable body roll into corners, but does not affect alignment

you will have worse handling due to body roll, but it wont be as worse on a lowered application as opposed to stock ride height. mine is lowered with frpp c springs and i removed my sway bar. i have considerable body roll, but i drive daily without issues

imo, i spent more doing all bolt ons than doing an 11psi procharger. now, the bolt ons can aid the poweradder a lot, but for the bang:buck ratio, i would go big first.

+1
or a turbo or a power pak as well

not only that but after you buy other bolt ons especially long tubes for a s/c you'll feel them alot more then on a n/a car
