$1000 won't really do it, but it is a good start. I'm gonna be goin over $1,000 spent on my car with the purchase of my h-pipe. Check out my setup in my garage. It's a good start.

You'll need more like $5000+ to match a gt. and spend it on a stroker kit, ssm stage 3 power pak, or forced induction like a procharger, vortech supercharger, or turbo kit. and also gears and auburn posi, or detroit tru trac.

He can do it with a full bolt on setup if the gt is stock. I'm almost full bolt ons.

Well with a h-pipe you need more than that, your gonna need that, and a cat back atleast...it should add around 10 hp, but that is an extremely rough estimate. You really never know how much your gonna get until you get it on your car, and get a couple dyno runs to find out.

This may seem stupid, but what is hp,bhp, rwhp I know what they stand for but what are the differences.

hp - horsepower thats it just horsepower in general

bhp - base horsepower (how much your engine makes to the crank or flywheel)

rwhp - rear wheel horsepower how much horespower your rear wheel drive car is making to the wheels.

hp normally refers to bhp which is base horse power which is what your engine makes while rwhp is how much hp is actually at the rear wheels.

I'm still a bit confused what is horsepower I know its the power of the car but what is it measured in? Also I thought bhp was break horse power.

horse power is an old term i don't know the actual formula for it now but it used to be that if you had 25 hp it would be the same as if 25 horses were pulling your vehicle. And Break horse power base horse power some thing break just means how much hp your trans-break is holding back if you have one.

ok get full exhuast headers to cat-back that will be pretty expensive you could get true duals from a muffler shop for 350 and give up about 6-7 horses

get a CAI 45 bucks ebay

ud pullies 170 bucks

tuner 400 with 3 tunes

thats 965 right there so that and some 93 octane and you'll be good for a bit

What is a CAI ? Also why so much for exhuast and only 6-7 horses? That seems a bit to high just for exahuast that only puts out 6-7. What's the cheapest exahuast I can get that's h-pipe of course ?

cold air intake.
I meant that if you get true duals you be looking at about 10-11 horses while if you get a full h-pipe set up you might see 16-18 horses but for hpipe and cat back you got at least 6-700 bucks man. modding isn't cheap 300 bucks for 10 horses is about normal.
