if you don't have that yet forget the spacer and tb they are doing nothing for you. For 38oo on a 96 man you should honestly keep the 99 full bolt ons on a 99 you'll run with a gt.

the eason i dont have the 99 is cause someone pulled out in front of me and totaled it. and i cant find a 99 in a price that will leave me with money to mod it with. my uncle owns a garage in ala. which is where im getting the car. he tells me that there isnt much difference in the hp in the 96's and 99's. ive heard a lot of different stuff.

there is a lot I think like 160bhp vs 190bhp. But if you get the 96 you could get a power pak for a quick 75 horses
http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/p...2PowerPaks.pdf

then get like and t-lok and gears, a tuner, pullies and have a pretty nice setup

i was thinkin about gettin a cam for it. i looked at power paks but my uncle told me that since i'm just learning to do this stuff i should stay away from changing my internals. he also has told me that the chips dont do a lot for the v6's. what are my advantages with getting one?

about 20 horses and the ability to get the best gains from each mod. And on a 96 your more than likely getting up in the miles so getting new internals will be good. And then you already have a good base to start building your engine off of. and you can add a cam to the power pak for like 250

idk where you get this.. a 99 full bolt-ons will run with a 97-98 GT from a roll but it would get raped from a dig..

I run hard with a 97 gt with my set up now no problem they get me after second cause I bog bad in third (working on that problem) 99-04's I surprise when I race I've been told by guys I raced that they were alittle worried at first.

99-04s arent to be underestimated and are extremely quick and have a good top end.. the 97-98s just have a boatload of torque with a larger gear you could take one down but it would still be very hard with full bolt-ons
